Short post this week all, here is an FYI you might be interested in.
If you are interested in the Mono programming stacks, you will be happy to know that MonoDevelop is now "real". While this IDE has been working for some time on Linux based systems, installing MonoDevelop on Mac OS X was very, very painful. Now days, the MonoDevelop folks have been kind enough to create a standard installer for Mac OS.....and Windows! Yes it is true, you can now design, debug and compile your .NET software, on a Windows OS, using MonoDevelop.
MonoDevelop is an IDE which supports C# and VB development for a variety of project types including ASP.NET, Moonlight (Mono's Silverlight API) and GTK#.
You can download the installer for your Mono-aware OS from the Mono main page, www.mono-project.com
