For any organization, a great way to inspire is to give back.  In addition to inspiration, giving back also creates a feeling of success.  A saying I’ve always liked is “If you want to feel like you have enough of something, give part of it away.”

For over a decade, we’ve tried to live this concept, from volunteering at holiday events, giving gifts and taking pictures of kids on Santa’s lap to the Intertech Foundation we started in 2003.  The Intertech Foundation’s mission it is to financially help the families of critically ill children.  Helping others also creates perspective.  Since its inception, we’ve donated over $130,000 to help families in need.

Finally, whether it’s a frustrating technical problem that’s unresolved or sale that was lost, volunteering at Ronald McDonald House or serving food to the homeless quickly creates perspective.
