HTML5 Training

Intertech’s HTML5 training courses cover the core techniques needed to create mobile first, responsive design sites.  Beyond HTML5, our courses include coverage of related technologies like Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, and Ajax.

While the specifics courses vary (see the respective course outlines above), at a high-level our HTML5 training courses cover core areas such as HTML5 documents and architectural structure such as parents, children, descendants, and siblings along with core elements of HTML including document elements, metadata, setting items (e.g. title) and defining CSS styles.  Markup text is covered and includes coverage of external hyperlinks, relative URLS, content annotation including adding emphasis, important text, subscript and superscript, and various other annotations.

CSS is covered in our courses including defining and applying a style and understanding and using CSS properties.  For JavaScript, Intertech’s HTML5 training courses include coverage of JavaScript including JavaScript statements, functions, parameters and return results, types, objects, use of arrays and best practices for error handling.  For Ajax, core areas are covered in Intertech’s HTML5 training courses including Ajax events, errors, getting/setting headers, sending form data, sending JSON data, and sending files.

Courses cover the need to group content, create paragraphs, implement headings, headers, footers, navigation blocks, and sidebars.  For tables, courses cover the basics of table creation, adding structure to a table, creating irregular tables, and working with columns.  For forms, the training offerings cover working with forms including defining a form, configuring a form and various form related activities including adding labels, focusing an input element, grouping elements together, and working with elements outside of a form.  Finally, in the areas of forms, courses cover input element customization and input validation.

Multimedia, DOM, and offline applications are included in some of the course offerings.  For multimedia, core techniques like embedding images, audio, and video are covered.  For DOM, courses can also cover understanding DOM and its related events and CSS properties.

Throughout the HTML5 training courses, instructors share useful  HTML5 tools, JavaScript tools, debuggers, libraries, and CSS framework recommendations.
