This presentation will focus on the different "Types" of rules that exist within an enterprise along with how to manage and implement the rules. We will start with defining the different types of rules, provide examples and discuss how to identify them. Once the rules are identified, what do we do with them? We will discuss different implementation options and approaches to utilizing rules. With the preceding as a baseline, we will then discuss the specifics of a Business Rules Management System (BRMS) and how it is used to develop, manage, and deploy enterprise rules.
