Testimonials

I took a WPF training course and felt I learned a lot. The class was well structured and had good flow. The training was a week long, and the staff took good care of us during that time. The facilities themselves had several good machines that we used to develop.

Intertech instructors know the concept of the material and can answer deeper questions than those covered in the courseware they are teaching instead of just following the outline of a book.

I just took this 3-day training at Intertech in Minneapolis with the great instructor and writer of many C# books, Andrew Troelsen. I learned tons of cool stuff. Its a great course, great instructor, and a great place. People at Intertech are super friendly, and in Minneapolis in general. Thanks everybody for your hospitality.

I just got done taking the 4 day Windows Presentation Foundation training at Intertech. It was taught by Andrew Troelsen. Andrew has written several books on .NET and Expression Blend. Andrews in depth knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject made it a very valuable training experience. About half of the trainees were from out of state, so it is obvious that Intertech has a great reputation nationwide. I feel confident that I will be able to apply this training to my next project in WPF.

Intertech provides good training that was easy to access. The classroom environment they have set up allows you to immediately get to work learning the content of the course. Overall, the class (WPF+MVVM) covered a significant amount of content in a week. The material was sufficient for different skill levels and exposures to WPF. The instructor was also very willing to help students with general problems (beyond the class material), and specific problems that they were trying to solve. The facility was also very nice and it was a pleasure to be there for a week.

I recently completed this Complete WPF course at Intertech in Eagan, MN and found it to be a good learning experience. If your looking for a course that teaches the core fundamentals of WPF, this is a great one. Much of the time is spent working with XAML and styling, however some time is spent working on the code-behind and model binding. Aside from the course, the training facility was very well setup and very accommodating! I would definitely concider taking another course at Intertech

Just completed WPF with MVVM training from Intertech. The class was really good and covered all important topics. The instructor did lots of hands on demo to explain concepts. The labs were good. Learned a lot in 5 days.

I took 3 days complete WPF training at Intertech in Saint Paul, MN. The instructor Andrew Troelsen who is also the writer of many C# books, was very good in delivering core concepts and knowledge of WPF. This course really help me to understand the fundamentals of XAML and Expression Blend IDE with hands on practical labs. The fascility at Intertech is also very good. I would recommend to have training with Intertech.

This is a great course--the content, instructor, and facilities made for a valuable learning experience. I was very new to WPF, but feel I now have the knowledge to start making good use of this framework. Intertech is the first place I look for technical training. I have taken courses at other companies, but none match Intertechs attention to detail. They really go the extra mile to make the learning experience valuable and comfortable.

MORE ON WPF TRAINING

Intertech instructors explain all the major ways WPF builds on top of the foundation of the .NET Framework and the fundamental concepts that enable a wide range of features for greater productivity on the part of developers and designers.

We begin with the WPF fundamentals (class hierarchy, logical and visual trees, and dependency properties) and then delve into how to build a WPF application: sizing, positioning and transforming elements, layout with panels, input events, and structuring and deploying an application. WPF Training also explores the layout properties that child elements can use to influence the way they appear on the screen, as well as user-visible elements like rotated and skewed controls.

Beyond these basics, Intertech WPF Training instructors cover arranging controls and other elements in a user interface. Students learn about input events, including support for engaging touch user interfaces, as well as several different ways to package and deploy WPF-user interfaces to make complete applications. By the time WPF Training is completed, students understand how to create interactive content that leverages the full richness of any input device.

Routed events and commands are reviewed. WPF Training then moves on to explore content controls, items controls, and images, text and other controls. Students in Intertech's WPF training courses also learn which features -- such as resources, data binding, styles, templates and themes -- in WPF can greatly enhance the development process and which are considered best practices by professional developers for creating maintainable and robust applications or components. Of course, WPF Training includes the most commonly used features in WPF, including 2D and 3D graphics, animation, and audio, video and speech features.

Intertech's more advanced WPF Training allows students to explore interoperability with non-WPF technologies, user controls and custom controls, layout with custom panels and toast notifications.

From fundamentals to advanced practices, intertech's WPF Training provides all you need to know to take maximum advantage of WPF.
