Using the Internet of Things (IoT) to Understand Customers

“By 2020, the number of devices connecting to the Internet will grow fivefold, from 5 billion now to 25 billion…as just about everything will come with a sensor” (Kiplinger). The Internet of Things (IoT) is growing at a rapid rate and is not going to stop. Therefore, Intertech’s Jim Karg will center his talk around this hot topic. Jim will speak about the state of the Internet of Things and how the capturing of data in the field is helping businesses large and small understand their customers. He’ll cover a case study where Intertech created a mobile app to consume and control IoT devices in the field enabling a competitive advantage with the power of data. Learn what IoT means to you and how freeing the data you already have can help you improve the products and services you already offer.
