This one-day course introduces Microsoft Blazor as a modern web development framework. Students will learn the basic types of Blazor applications and why to choose between the selected architectures including None, Server, WebAssembly, and Auto (Server & WebAssembly). Then students will explore component-based development within the Blazor project. Navigation and state management are also briefly covered as well as the form development and for gathering information from the user.
Developers who are experienced with prior Microsoft frameworks or are currently looking to upgrade their current web applications will feel right at home with Blazor!
After each of the lectures, students will have a chance to work on Blazor to enforce topics learned.
Students are expected to bring their own laptops with Visual Studio 2022 (Community Edition or higher) installed.

As a Delivery Manager at Intertech, Brian helps our customers achieve successful IT project outcomes by working with the entire team to find the best path forward.
Prior to joining Intertech, Brian was director of R&D in 3M’s Corporate Research Laboratory, where he led an organization that delivered innovative programs that connected software and data analytics capabilities into product divisions, and an operations executive, Registered Scrum Trainer,™ and consultant for Scrum Inc., where he worked with Dr. Jeff Sutherland, co-creator of the Scrum framework.
