Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. Systems Management Analyst with ample Systems Administration & DevOps related automation experience. The ideal candidate will assist the VEA Team in Implementing advanced & automated processes in order to effectively and efficiently scale VDI Systems and activities. This will include leveraging DevOps tools & Technologies to develop & streamline the VDI Team’s capabilities for meeting the increased workloads expected whilst maintaining stability & performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure as Code Implementations: Design & Implement IaaC processes for Maintaining the VDI Backend Server Infrastructure, leveraging Technologies such as Ansible or similar Configuration Management tools.
- Implement VDI Lower Environments: Assist with building & Implementing VDI Lower Environments (Dev & Staging) to allow for proper Testing & Validation of VDI Changes. Leverage Automation tools to move along changes in these environments to ensure consistency of environments.
- Process Automation: Provide process automation across the VDI Infrastructure stack.
- Implement automated VDI Image builds leveraging tools such as Packer, Windows Application package managers etc.
- Establish automated pipelines using On-Prem Azure DevOps (ADO) and other DevOps technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Packer, and vCenter Content Library etc.
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Assist Team with advanced troubleshooting to resolve Infrastructure & Server level issues to ensure system stability and performance.
Job Qualifications:
- 5+ years of System Administration experience, encompassing the following domains
- Windows Server & Windows Desktop Implementation & Administration
- Managing a VMware Virtualized environment using vCenter,
- Experience with Windows Scripting Technologies using PowerShell or an equivalent Scripting engine.
- Strong proficiency with DevOps & IaaC technologies, including Ansible, Azure DevOps (ADO), Terraform, Packer, and vCenter automation.
- US Citizen and ability to obtain Security clearance when needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, related field or Equivalent Work experience
- Experience with Implementing and Managing a VMware Horizon VDI Environment
Hourly Rates:
$45 – 57/Hr W2,
$60 – 74/Hr 1099/C2C
