This course provides an excellent “step up” class for current HTML4 and CSS2.x Web developers. It introduces the latest tags, attributes, and APIs while adhering to the latest, released standards of HTML5.

This class introduces HTML5 development for multiple platforms with different types of user agents (web content consumers), even mobile Web applications. It also covers polyfills for making up for web browser shortcomings. It introduces and thoroughly covers the new HTML5 tags, including the new section tags and the document outline. It also covers delivering audio and video media files. It delivers thorough coverage of the new HTML5 APIs accessible through JavaScript.
