For over a decade, we have been providing innovative technology to both the industrial and agricultural markets. A growing small manufacturing business, based in Minnesota, has partnered with companies all over the United States and is selling products across the world.
The Software Developer will manage and maintain software applications, database applications, and web sites. Design and develop new software applications with data collection, database management and custom reporting. Responsibilities include providing innovative and cost-effective solutions to meet technical objectives and timing within established standards and specification using approved programming languages and systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
- Produces design and testing requirements documentation.
- Perform quality assurance testing for new features and product releases and client specific feature requests.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
- Develops and maintains applications and databases by analyzing requirements and developing software systems.
- Proactively diagnoses and corrects application software problems and improves operating performance.
- Development of various software systems utilizing various coding technologies
- Completes assigned software implementation tasks with high quality and on schedule.
- Maintains and upgrades websites by updating content and graphics; monitoring performance and results; identifying and evaluating improvement options; introducing new technology; maintaining links.
- Protects websites by designing and installing security precautions.
- Participates in training and/or customer support activities as needed.
Qualification Standards

- Experience and knowledge with all commonly used programming languages, systems, and databases management tools.
- Knowledge using and managing Microsoft Office Suite
- 5 to 7 years of computer programming experience (Preferred)
- 2 years Microsoft .Net C# experience (application and web)
- 1-2 years’ experience using JS libraries (Dev Express preferred)
- 1-2 years of Web API experience.
- 1-2 years Dev Ops experience.
- Familiar with Amazon and/or Azure Cloud services.
- Smartphone application development experience (Preferred)
- Working with Artificial Intelligence services (Preferred)
- Database Management and Microsoft SQL Server experience (Preferred)
- Linux/Unix experience (Preferred)
- A Computer Science Degree or Software Application Development Associate’s Degree, or equivalent work experience (minimum 2 years)
